Sprint Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G Gets ICS Update

Good news! Sprint announced through its official community boards that it has started the rollout of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update to the handset. The update will be rolled out via OTA so expect a notification to come up on your Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G when the update is ready to be downloaded. The ICS rollout to the Samsung Galaxy S II Epic Touch 4G will continue in the next month and once applied to the handset, it will crank up the version of the handset to S:D710.10S.FF18. In addition to that, it will bring goodies and treats such as Face Unlock along with a more refined user interface to the handset.

Dropbox to Remove Public Folders Except for Existing Users

Dropbox will soon eliminate the Public Folders features, one that has attracted many to use this cloud storage service. Based on an earlier email sent to users of Dropbox API, the company will no longer be creating Public folders for new users starting on July 31.   However, the functions will still be available for current users at least for now, but those who create new accounts after the 31 July would not be able to their dump files in a public folder to simplify sharing. Samsung Galaxy S3 Officially Launched

Samsung Galaxy S3 has been launched in London yesterday (May 3, 2012), with several improvements as compared to its predecessors. Comes with 4.8” Super Amoled HD display and Exynos 4 Quad (1.4GHz)  processor, Samsung Galaxy S3 new look is slightly resembling Nexus S with its candy-bar shape. I don’t fancy the design though, to me it could have been designed with a sleeker look. The processor is said to allow faster and smooth running of applications under Android 4.0.
