Today is World Environment Day (WED)! The slogan selected for this year is Melting Ice  a Hot Topic? It’s pretty much a reminder for us about the rapid change in our climate and the global warming issues. Most of us are complaining about the hot weather but very few actually do something about it. They would rather spend more times in air-conditioned room rather than do something that is worthwhile for our Mother Nature. While everyone in the world is playing their parts in celebrating WED 2007, I started my very own campaign today. Wanna know what? Look at this list:

  • Reduce bathing from three times a day to two times. (Conserve water) 🙂
  • Restart my mini farm behind my house (a project abandoned after entering UNIMAS)
  • Last but not least, recycling campaign.

Love our environment! Think before you throw!!

Hey, environmental issues!! good on you. to be frank, i really feel the world began to change due to mother nature’s fury..(we are like her kids who don’t listen to mum…so kena beating)..raining season in Msia is damn unpredictable. natural disasters in getting frequent.
if can, check out Al Gore’s (yes, the fella who said Anwar Ibrahim is a gay back in 1998) docu-movie called An Inconvenient Truth…loved his narration and graphic visuals he uses in his presentation of global warming.
i tell u, the after effect of the movie really strucked me hard.
We shud try to make small changes like refusing plastic bags when u buy ‘small items that u can actually carry without a fuss’ whenever the condition permits..

as i would put it this way..small changes lead to positive domino effect as small ignorance leads to collective nuisance.
    TO a healthy world!
