Kenapa saya berkata demikian? Rata-rata hanya mahukan…

My Tweet on C.G.P.A. That Went Viral

On the day (28 Jan 2015) when two first-year students came to see me regarding their poor results for Semester 1 and expressed their intention to quit, I posted a random Tweet that was somehow “retweeted” or “shared” for more than 2000 times in less than 2 hours. Not only on Twitter, it was shared via my Facebook account as well (with almost 3000 likes and 2500 shared posts). CGPA 3.5 does not equate genius while CGPA 2.0 does not equate idiot. They are just numbers until you prove your worth in life. — Chuah Kee Man (@keemanxp) January 28, 2015 (CGPA = cumulative grade point average – scores given usually to rank students).  Within 24 hours, it started to go viral, and many also…

Good news to Sarawakians, the highly anticipated TMgo 4G Broadband has finally expanded to Sarawak with good coverage in major areas especially those with educational institutions apart from the Kuching city. CDM25 vs MH17 – The Paradox of Being Malaysians

It was only about two days ago when the whole nation was abuzz with the steering lock saga of a young lady bullying a senior citizen due to a minor accident. It went viral and the young lady gained instant fame in less than 24 hours. The viral “drama” went on amidst the incident in Sabah as well as constant pleas from Malaysians who are concerned about what is happening in Gaza. All of the sudden, the attention was diverted toward CDM25, in which almost everyone is interested to share their views on it. (Photo from AFP) Then came the sucker punch. The unexpected tragedy of Malaysia Airlines flight MH17, which was allegedly shot down by Ukrainian (Pro-Russian) separatists. A Boeing 777 aircraft for flight…

MH370 Mishap: Menacing it the Malaysian Way?

At times of crisis, it does not take long for a proud Malaysian to stand up and arrogantly boast to the world how he or she could handle the crisis way better than the politicians or experts. Look at the non-stop pouring of comments and postings on social networks, instant messengers, blogs and forums, a foreigner would have wondered why Malaysia is blessed with a plethora of intelligent citizens and experts of aviation and crime investigation despite being so-called touted to have one of the worse education systems in the world. Of course, one would tell you Malaysians can in fact do everything thanks to the lifelong motto of Malaysia Boleh! Having said that, the unfortunate incident of the missing MH370 plane has once again…
