Similar to Facebook Page, Google has introduced its Google+ Pages to businesses and brands across the globe. As mentioned in their blog, Google stated “So far Google+ has focused on connecting people with other people. But we want to make sure you can build relationships with all the things you care about—from local businesses to global brands—so today we’re rolling out Google+ Pages worldwide.”
While it looks similar to Facebook Page, Google+ Pages come with a greater integration with Google search engine as well as apps. One feature that stand out is the Direct Connect mechanism. Just go to Google and search for [+], followed by the page you’re interested in (like +Angry Birds), and Google will bring you to their official Google+ Page. Of course, the Google team has promised more features to be added in the near future as they look to capitalise on their large numbers of loyal users.
