Well, Nokia has come up with the latest N97 model within its NSeries line to compete with other touch screen phone competitors like HTC, Samsung and Apple. Designed for the needs of Internet-savvy consumers, the Nokia N97 combines a large 3.5″ touch display with a full QWERTY keyboard, providing an ‘always open’ window to favorite social networking sites and Internet destinations. Nokia’s flagship Nseries device introduces leading technology – including multiple sensors, memory, processing power and connection speeds – for people to create a personal Internet and share their ’social location.’ The Nokia N97 looks like a cross between a lot of different phones from the iPhone to the Google G1 Phone to the AT&T Tilt (HTC TyTN II).
The Nokia N97 also supports TV Out, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth, GPS, FM radio, and a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics. If the camera on the Nokia N97 is as good as that on the Nokia N95 then I’m sure that the Nokia N97 won’t have any problems when it comes to its camera software. The Nokia N97 runs on Quadband GSM networks and supports 3G/HSDPA. This phone also has in- built 32 GB of memory and extendible to 48 GB using MicroSD. It will hit the local (Malaysia) store by June. The price is yet to be confirmed but it should be around RM2-RM2.5k. More Info Visit Nokia Malaysia N97 Page. Will seriously consider this phone but depend on it price! I’ll update on this if I happen to get my hands on this phone.
