Due to its changed privacy policy and terms, Facebook has increased their “security features” by auto detecting your activities on Facebook. You account will be blocked when the system detects that you’re breaking their terms (lengthy one i tell you!). It could be activities deemed illegal such as sending mass message soliciting for money (scam), flooding walls or even sharing harmful materials (e.g. links to worms/malware). Most of the time of course, you may not be aware of it since your account might be “hacked” or used by other people for such inappropriate use.
How to Get Your Facebook Account Back?
Luckily, Facebook allows you to report the issue and they will review it once they get a feedback from you. Everytime your account is blocked, you’ll received an email from the Facebook Team. This is sent to you automatically and not manually by the team members. Hence, you can reply to the mail by claiming your innocence and get back your account. This will take about 48 hours or longer (depending on the team’s efficiency in reviewing).
Alternatively, you can follow the links below and submit the form available there. You need to log out of any Facebook account to submit the forms.
Click here for the primary form if you violated the Facebook terms and statement of rights and responsibilities.
Click here for other forms if your account was blocked because of security reasons (such as being hacked)
How Fast Can You Get Your Account Back?
There is no definite answer to this as it all depends on how fast the Facebook team will review your inquiry. But from my experience, they always reply and it will not take longer than 5 days unless they have solid proof that your account is really engaging in illegal activities. Your account might be permanently deleted as well.
