Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Versus Apple iPad 2

Apple iPad’s closest rival, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 finally officially arrives in US (nationwide) and the world’s thinnest and lightest table (0.2 mm thinner than iPad 2) is receiving good reviews from its users with Apple now gearing up to sue Samsung for being a copycat. Anyhow, to do a clear comparison between the two tablets, here is a table for the WiFi-only version since it’s the most popular version among buyers.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is indeed slightly thinner and lighter than iPad 2. Don’t think you will feel the difference but some reviewers have said it feels much easier to hold on to than iPad 2. Both comes with good ultra-sharp display and dual-core processors but Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 extra RAM may prove crucial in enhancing multi-tasking experience. Galaxy Tab 10.1 also sports a larger screen with higher resolution. Another selling point of Galaxy Tab 10.1 is Full Adobe Flash Player Compatibility, so you may be able to play those flash-driven games on Facebook!

So it’s really the OS that makes the big difference now. Whether you opt for an Android or iOS device. Android Honeycomb is really impressive thus far. For Google, it’s a matter of pushing the apps development now!

I am currently using Samsung Galaxay Tab 10, 32 GB. It is wonderful. So my vote will go to Samsung Galaxy Tab 🙂

Samsung has a history of copying their competitors. Pre-iPhone, it was Nokia they were copying. Post-iPhone, it was Apple. Add the fact that the man that runs the entire company is corrupt to the core; the company poisons its own employees; and the fact thatSamsung has a history of not paying its Korean partners for months until they go bankrupt, only to buy them at bargain-basement prices later, I say fuck Samsung. This company profits too much on the hard works of others.
