After its introduction two years ago (May 27, 2009), Google Wave finally goes public in which users can directly use this tool without any invitations. It’s available via http://wave.google.com and you can login using your Google Account.Β  Touted as theΒ  “new web application for real-time communication and collaboration” by Google, Wave is designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking all in one platform.

Waves can function not only as e-mails and threaded conversations but also as an instant messaging service when many participants are online at the same time. There also plenty of extensions that can be installed in Wave from real-time collaboration to even live games.

Well, you can watch the following view to get to know more about Google Wave! And yeah, have you WAVEd yet?
