A great news to the growing BlackBerry community in Malaysia. Celcom Xpax is going to offer pre-paid plans for the latest Blackberry Curve 8520. BlackBerry Curve 8520 is deemed as the most affordable BlackBerry available so far and Celcom Xpax has indeed made the first step in making it more affordable for prepaid users.

 

There are no official info on the pricing yet but it is expected to be pitched around RM1,200 to RM1,400 (RM 1,199 and RM998 for pre-booking). If you’re interested, you can sign up at Xpax Website to pre-register this phone for a special deal. Watch out for its launch very soon!

    Dial *100#. Select services.. Prepaid Blackberry.
    My cousin activated . A little slow response but it works! Great job, Maxis! Just make sure you now offer devices below RM 1k.

    My shock after receiving this product was that it was not 3G compatible. For an unlocked phone which I intend to use while traveling to various countries and being a recent model from Blackberry this is very disappointing. This information was not clear on the Amazon website before purchase. I would not have purchased this product had I known.
