China’s Thunder Networking Technologies, released the latest version of their famous download manager (Xunlei or Thunder 7 Version 7.1.8.2300) not so long ago. Despite its update, its consistency in ensuring high-speed download has never been questioned. However, recently Xunlei web portal has blocked external IPs (except from China, Hong Kong and Macau) from getting access to their pool of download resources (e.g. Gougou). It can still be used to download files from other resources. It includes support on direct http download, emule and torrents.
Another downside of the latest version is that Thunder Networking Technologies has made it difficult to add other language packs. This could be their efforts to ensure that the software can only be used by the Chinese community. So you’ll just have to bear with the weird symbols if your OS didn’t support Chinese characters.

When installing, it’s good to uncheck most of the extra features if you dislike additional toolbars etc. Just use it for manual download. Copy the download link into the new file area (put the URL in the box) then the download will start. There are icons which are pretty obvious, so I don’t think you really need to understand the language in order to use it.
Well, if you dislike the weird symbols on your screen, then try out Xunlei 5 (With English Translation Pack)

hey in my college torrents is blocked and we use a proxy server with a username and passwd..so i tried but didnt get success i think i cudnot configure it properly…can u give some screenshots of config..
