As expected, Apple would not admit their mistake in the engineering of iPhone 4 and the press conference started with the usual Steve Job’s “nice-persuading-words” of Apple did nothing wrong, they love their users, they really really love their users, all phones have this problem, and blah blah blah. Steve Jobs also poured in some “data” to show that the problem is affecting very small percentage of users and explained why antenna strength (or “death grip”) is a problem of all smartphones (I do pity those phones that they have chosen to compare with! Even without a solid physical QWERTY keypad, messaging and inputting text on Samsung Galaxy S is easy and effortless thanks to the availability of several text input methods. These methods include Swype, on-screen QWERTY keypad as well as Handwriting box (DioPen). I’ll introduce to you these three methods accordingly. In areas where text input function is available (e.g. text messaging, note entry, search box), just put your finger on the text input area and hold it for about 2 seconds, and you’ll be prompted with a popup box that ask you on the Input Method. BlackBerry 6 Latest Teaser and Sneak Peak

BlackBerry maker Research In Motion has released another teaser for its latest OS, Blackberry 6. Due to the pressure from Apple’s iPhone iOS4 and Google’s Android 2.2 (Froyo), Blackberry 6 is now packed with a new WebKit-powered browser with multi-touch and the new Social Feeds. The focus on multi-touch would also mean that Blackberry might focus more on its touchscreen models like BlackBerry Storm 2. Do view the video below for more info. iPhone 4 Antenna Woes: Apple is Too Stubborn

After all the hypes surrounding the release of iPhone 4, now everyone’s attention is directed to the “flaws” that comes with the new phone especially on the antenna woes! To make things worse, Consumer Reports said careful testing has confirmed user reports that holding the phone over a particular spot drastically reduces the signal strength it receives. Covering the spot with duct tape or a case would solve the problem. But the sad thing is the way Apple or Steve Job to be exact is responding to the issue.
