Android 3.0 Honeycomb Preview – Optimized for Tablets

Looks like Google Android team is making Android 3.0 (codenamed Honeycomb) more tablet friendly to sort of fight the onslaught of Apple’s iPad. Tablet makers can now look forward to greater features in the upcoming version of Android. Honeycomb boasts a refined multi-tasking, elegant notifications, access to over 100,000 apps on Android Market, home screen customization with a new 3D experience and redesigned widgets that are richer and more interactive. You can see those features highlighted in the following video.

Google launches Nexus S phone Powered by Samsung

After the “death” of Nexus One built by HTC, Google decided to take a second bid to at least get a slice of the mobile phone market by introducing Nexus S. I guess the “S” can clearly indicate its “affiliation” with Samsung. The phone will be using the latest version of Google Android 2.3, codenamed Gingerbread. Yes, you can play Flash! 🙂 With Samsung as the manufacturer, you’ll definitely expect similarities with Samsung Galaxy phone series. It comes with SuperAMOLED screen and best of all because it’s Google’s phone, you get to sync to all Google Services. With Gingerbread, the battery life is also better. But to me, it’s just a Samsung Galaxy S phone branded with GOOGLE NEXUS. 🙂 Enjoy the video below:

Google via Google Zeitgeist has released the annual list for the top searches for Malaysia in 2010. There are actually several fastest rising search terms that you can explore.
