The much hyped about the iPhone 4 "leaked pictures" released by Gizmodo earlier this week and of course a kid two months ago, is for real after all (at least for now) unless Apple do some drastic changes to it before its release. Of course, the official letter by Apple asking for it’s return as posted by the tech blog has provided a much needed confirmation over the genuinity of the "lost phone". To me, regardless whether the phone is for real or not, it did what all Apple products do to the consumers – creating the "WOW" factor.

Besides, whether or not Mr Powell is going to get the sack for losing the phone is of secondary importance, the fact is we have been presented with the sneak peak of what the next-gen iPhone can offer (externally of course). Here are a few features worth mentioning:
- SIM card slot has been moved to the side and the Micro-SIM is introduced (like in the iPad 3G).
- A front facing camera (possible for video calling perhaps)
- Volume buttons have been separated.
- Slighly less-curvy design. A more solid and squared off look.
Well, all these external features will be boosted with the soon-to-be released iPhone OS 4.0. Frankly, I love the new design. It looks more professional with its flat rare panel. I think it’s going to sell like hot cakes when it’s officially released, especially with these "free marketing", Steve Job must be smiling now!
