After Samsung stated that its Galaxy S users in South Korea would get the Android 2.2 (Froyo) update in August 2010, its France subsidiary was said to be rolling out the update in September 2010. According to Phandroid, a Samsung representative in France has let out the details on the planned update in September. Since the Samsung Galaxy S available in France is the international model, there might be a chance that Samsung will be releasing the full update globally earlier than expected.
Samsung Galaxy S is by far one of the best Android smartphones in the market and the update to Froyo would make it even more appealing! Hopefully, Samsung can confirm the update release date very soon.
