Well, more and more Android-based tablet pc are flooding into the market, trying to emulate the success of Apple’s iPad. Augen Electronics, a company based in Florida, US has just released their own tablet PC powered by Android 2.1, known as GENTOUCH. The GENTOUCH comes with a 800 pixel wide resolution and a 7” screen, allowing web browsing in full width. And this tablet PC is sold at $149!

The Specifications

  • 800×480 color TFT touch panel screen
  • CPU: 800 Mhz
  • Ram: DDR2 256mb
  • Internal Memory: 2GB

Well, i’m not quite sure about its performance, but i do think the only thing “good” about this tablet pc is its screensize. The rest of its specs are mediocre, some smartphones can easily outperform it!
