TIME’s Person of The Year – ME!!

Whooa…Thank you, thank you TIME and thank you world for selecting ME as TIME’s Person of the Year. What? You think i’m just joking? Nah! It’s true. TIME’s ’06 Person of the Year is You, and that means Me and You! Hahaha. Well, who would expect that when Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian President has been the hot favourite to get that prestigious title from TIME Magazine. Absolutely – Time’s selection of YOU, as in, the people, the everyman and everywomen who have spend millions of seconds doing online shopping, sharing, chatting from Amazon, to Myspace to Youtube (now part of Google), generating billions of income for various companies. But strange enough, the selection of YOU as the person of the year is mainly judged based on the increasing number of registered members in sharing and social networking portals like Youtube and Myspace. Hey! There’s more great happenings in the world that Youtube! For me, 2006 is a year of WAR and Political Turmoils! Just read or listen to the news from January 1st until December 31st, you’ll find that WAR is happening everyday! From Iraq, to Somalia, to Nepal, to Thailand and not forgetting all the buzz about nukes. All in the name of RELIGION! I guess it won’t stop and 2007 might see a new age of war. Friends! Since we are all selected as TIME’s Person of The Year, let’s make a difference. Perhaps use all our capacities to make the world a better place!!
