I was Googling for some pictures that I came across a website showcasing a splendid works on graphics and web design. My first impression was “Speechless”. Yes, I’m amazed with the mouthwatering appeal and fascinating sense of colourful experience that the works bring. Well, the site belongs to Bel Koo, a freelance web designer from Perak, Malaysia. Now, i guess you all have seen some fancy Friendster layout that your friends are showing off. You might be wondering how they did that. First of all, you need to understand that there are few ways to customise your page. The basic one is through CSS as available in Friendster. Using Basic CSS is rather limited as you can only change the colour scheme and background. There is however another method known as Overlay or Crossover. As the name suggest, your profile is changed by "putting" another custom-made page over it, it’s like covering your original profile with your own profile page.

Well, been helping out my friend with the new layout design for the Portal Komuniti SMK Dato’ Mahmud Paduka Raja 1, Tanah Mera, Kelantan. Made two layout, but prefer this latest one because of it’s colour combinations. The site is founded by Aduuus, and I volunteered to help him out with the designs. For the tools used, graphics are done using Photoshop CS 3 with minor “help” from Illustrator. Animated banner is done using Ulead GIF Animator, for fast and simple animation.
