Samsung has recently announced the newly updated smartphone for its Galaxy S series, the Samsung Galaxy S II. It is said to be the world’s thinnest dual-core smartphone. Running on Android 2.3, Galaxy S II retains most of the features from its predecessor but with a new sleek look and powered with amazing 1 GHz dual-core processor complemented with 1GB of RAM. It’s super fast! Some of you might notice that it looks slightly similar to the iPhone!
Samsung Galaxy S II boasts a large, vibrant 4.3-inch WVGA (480×800 pixels) Super AMOLED Plus screen and an 8-megapixel camera with LED flash (something missing in previous version) and 1080p full HD movie recording at 30fps plus 2MP front-facing camera. Samsung also introduces its own Samsung Hubs – Social Hub Premium, Readers Hub, Game Hub and Music Hub as well as the customizable Live Panel to aggregate live Web and mobile apps to the home screen.
