Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi Android Portable Smart Player

Samsung once again venture into new market by introducing the first ever Android-based portable smart player, known as Samsung Galasy S Wi-Fi. It functions just like an iPod Touch and of course looks exactly like Samsung Galaxy S sans the phone feature. Two variants are made available: Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 (4-inch touchscreen and 1200 mAh battery) and Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 (5-inch touchscreen and 2500 mAh battery).

If you just need a player that allows you to enjoy Android apps and games as well as high quality media (movies and musics) without the phone feature, then Samsung Galaxy S Wi-Fi will offer you those features. It comes with build-in GPS, Bluetooth 3.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, run on Android 2.2 Froyo but upgradeable to Android 2.3 as well as Pre-loaded with Skype and Qik Plus VoIP.

Still pretty unsure of its availability in Malaysian market, but do expect it to appear sometime in June. The price should be cheaper that the Samsung Galaxy S (smartphone).
