If you’re looking for an affordable tablet with functional features, perhaps as a birthday gifts to your kids, then IPRO i3Plus gives you exactly that! With a retail price of only RM 299.00, the tablet offers you a smooth scrolling experience especially with its Android 4.0.3 and 1.5Ghz processor that gives you access to necessary apps. After testing the unit for about 6 days, here are several review points that I have made for the tablet.

Look and Feel

IPRO i3Plus 7-inch screen and body casing are sleek and large enough to allow you to hold it firmly. The screen resolution may not be as sharp as other AMOLED or HD screen, but it is bright enough to give you a clear view without straining your eyes. The body casing also comes with several colour options such as white, gold and red, making it a perfect gift option.

Speed and Performance

Of course, don’t expect it to have high benchmark. With its super lower price, the tablet allows you to run several popular apps without major glitch. Apart from the popular games such as Angry Birds, Temple Run or Bejeweled Blitz, I can also perform my usual routines like checking Facebook, emails and also Internet browsing. One down side would be you can’t load too many apps at one time. That would slow down the apps. But I guess, it is bearable as long as you don’t overload the apps simultaneously. The audio quality was not up to my expectation although it is rather loud unlike some tablets with many low volume capability. The Internal storage capacity is 8GB and it comes with MicroSD slot that support up to 32GB.

Connectivity

IPRO i3Plus comes with WiFi connectivity that allows you get access to the Internet. There is no real issue with the WiFi as its detection capability is fairly strong. There’s no 3G connectivity included since there’s no SimCard slot available. That somewhat reduces your usage in areas where WiFi coverage is limited. However, this is a major drawback.

Overall Verdict

With its low pricing, this tablet is indeed a value for money. If you need a tablet just for basic use without hurting your pocket, then this is a good choice. It also comes with 1-year manufacturer warranty.
