I was searching for some methods of removing scratches on CDs that I found a very interesting one via Instructables, my favourite DIY website. The author apparently suggested ways of removing surface scratches using Vaseline! Or to be exact, Vaseline’s petroleum-based jelly and not other body lotion. I didn’t know it can be that useful, so i tested it out and it works! Of course, don’t expect it to remove deep scratches. At least now you find another use for Vaseline!
Well, if you’re interested to try, visit this page on Instructables.
