Just received email from WordCamp Malaysia team that the registration for the 1st ever WordCamp in Malaysia is now open. The details on this can be obtained from the official website later today. The event will be held at Cititel Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur on 22nd of May 2010, 9am – 5PM. And to those registering for BarCamp KL 2010, you’ll be given special registration rate as well.
Now, if you’re not familiar with WordCamp, it is a conference that focuses on everything WordPress and it’s held all over the world. WordCamps are informal, community-organized events that are put together by WordPress users. This year marks the first ever WordCamp to be held on Malaysian ground, thanks for the volunteers involved who make this event a reality. It is a good platform for everyone who loves WordPress to get involved and of course build some networking.
