REDtone International Bhd launched its Sarawak service on April 2, 2009, with four based stations. The base stations in Kuching are in Muara Tabuan, BDC Crystall, Jalan Pending and Bukit Djin. The company is currently expanding its network coverage to cover more areas in Kuching as well as Miri by year end.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" src=\"http:\/\/keemanxp.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/image\/b_pg06zainal.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>REDtone has designed five packages from as low as RM138 to RM1,088 a month for a 2Mbps downlink\/2Mbps uplink bandwidth to suit customer needs. It also comes with  bundled Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) lines. I tried to Google for <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redtone.com\/services\/data_wimax.php\">their website<\/a> and apparently, the site does not contains much info on the packages. Judging from the limited market, they didn&#8217;t put much effort promoting there packages. In fact some users have complained about their poor services and connection speed. One friend of mine actually do a comparison between REDTone&#8217;s Wimax and Celcom Standard 68 package. To his surprise, Celcom won!!
