There are two main method of how to download and upgrade to the latest version and I&#8217;m going to share these two methods:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/keemanxp.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/iphone_os_4-300x245.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-2176  aligncenter\" title=\"iphone_os_4-300x245\" src=\"http:\/\/keemanxp.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/06\/iphone_os_4-300x245.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"250\" height=\"204\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Upgrade Method 1<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Install the latest <a href=\"http:\/\/www.apple.com\" target=\"_blank\">iTunes 9.2<\/a> on your PC or Mac and launch it.<\/li>\n<li> Then connect your iPhone or iPod Touch to the PC or Mac.<\/li>\n<li> Select your Device from the Sidebar of iTunes. You will see summary page with an option for update. But don&#8217;t upgrade yet.<\/li>\n<li>Right click on the device icon in the sidebar of iTunes and back it up. Just in case unwanted incident or upgrade failure happens.<\/li>\n<li>After done backing up, go back to Step 3 and click on &#8220;Check for Update&#8221;.
