Now, before you think China-based Great Loong Brother Industrial Co.  is copying iPad, please bear in mind that P88 was introduced much earlier than Apple announced its iPad. And some reports have claimed that the Shenzen-based company is trying to sue Apple for copying their idea. To me, P88 is not iPad look-alike or clone at all since both are entirely different, except for the idea of making it a "book-size" touch screen PC.<\/p>\n

The P88 is thicker and heavier than the iPad with only 1.5 hours of battery life compared to the long 10 hours battery life from the iPad. Spec wise, P88 has a larger screen, faster processor, bigger memory and USB ports to boast about. But having a "tablet pc" with only 1.5 hours of battery life? For me, it’s useless! Better spend on laptop then.<\/p>\n

P88 runs smooth with its Atom processor, more or less like a netbook but it lacks the features in iPad. And with 1.5 hours of battery life, P88 is definitely below par and with that price range, might as well go for iPad.<\/p>\n
