Residents of Taman Riveria, Tiya Vista in Kota Samarahan, Taman Shang and Taman Yakin, Miri can now be among the earliest to enjoy the UniFi service in Sarawak. A quick search on the UniFi website revealed that the high-speed broadband is now available at the mentioned areas.
TM is aggressively expanding the coverage areas in Sarawak, with Samajaya and other parts of Samarahan said to be next areas to be covered. The installation process would take approximately 4 to 8 hours (according to the website but usually it takes up to 3 working days) depending on your area and the installation charge is RM 200 with no deposits required. The contract period duration is 24 months.
UniFi offers three Residential packages (as of October 2012), and each package comes with voice, Internet and HyppTV subscription.
