If you think you need an iPhone, to get cool apps, think again! Android Market has in fact some good apps that are available for FREE. If you own a device that runs on Android OS, the following apps might spice up your daily productivity. I have compiled some top apps (in no specific order) that you can try out.

1. Firefox 4 Mobile (Beta)

If you want a better browser with the flexibility to download addons and themes, then Firefox is what you need on your Android device. Mozilla is getting serious about fixing its browser to fit mobile devices, so expect to get more fixes soon. Available here.

2. Adobe Photoshop Express

The top photo editing software is now available on Android. You can use Photoshop Express to edit your pictures as well as apply one-touch effects. It loads rather fast and it is really handy in editing your photos on the go. Search it on Android market to download it.

This app provides free and simple solution to connect your mobile device to your home or office computer. 2X Client also connects to 2X VirtualDesktopServer v9 to seamlessly run published Windows applications such as Microsoft Office.

Your Android device needs a little boost? Then you need this app! This free app is designed to optimize Android smartphones while minimizing the power consumption, and keeping users in control of the amount of internet usage.

Paranoid? With this app, you can quickly erase your browser history, call log, market search history, Google map search history, Gmail search history, clipboard data, YouTube search history, and Google search history.
