Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Coming to Malaysia with Celcom

After a long wait, Samsung has confirmed that its tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be released in Malaysia latest by second week of August 2011. The price? It is going to be below RM2000 and I reckon the price should be as competitive as iPad 2. The tablet will be exclusively tied-up with Celcom Malaysia and both black and white versions will be introduced. Celcom basically will launch 16GB 3G version of the Galaxy Tab 10.1 with the WiFi version introduced slightly later.

With everyone waiting for the official launch soon, Samsung is trying to give surprises by keeping mum over its real pricing and Celcom will probably introduce greater discounts for early birds as happened in Indonesia. We’ll just wait and see.

  • We had the Galaxy Tab 7 & found it too small too slow. Then there was iPad 1 which was good for games, browsing websites with no flash, & excellent photos/videos/media but bad for other things !

So is this Tab 10.1 the One ? :)

  • tab 10.1 will be the one ,better camera ( much more better than iPad2 ) flash ? no problem lar ~ shall see about honey comb 3.1 ~

  • But the honeycomb 3.1 does not have much app in app store, but still this samsung 10.1 tab is the best.
