Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 Windows 7 Tablet for Professionals

Fujitsu has just recently announced its new business-oriented Windows 7 tablet – Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q550 slate PC. It is boasted with high security standards and multiple touch computing. Fujitsu Stylistic Q550 is specifically designed for business use rather than the usual “entertainment-based” tablet market.

What are the selling points?

  • 10.1-inch WXGA multi-touch screen with anti-glare coating
  • The latest Intel ATOM CPU (Oak Trail)
  • Advanced Theft Protection (ATP) plus optional embedded Trusted Platform Module (TPM)
  • Built-in fingerprint and SmartCard readers

This tablet can also last for about 10 hours and comes with a handwriting recognition app. It is expected to hit the global market in April 2011 and would cost around $699 Euro.
