Write Protector for USB Pendrive

Enabling write protect on your USB pendrive would be a very good way of preventing unwanted malwares or virus on other people’s computer to be copied into your pendrive. Write-protect means no files can be inserted into your pendrive just like a non-rewritable CDs as well as no changes can be made on your existing files. This is good when you just want to copy some files to another PC. However, not all pendrive or USB flash drive are equipped with the in-built write protect function.

Fear not, Portable USB WriteProtector by Werner Rumpeltesz will do the job for you. The software is currently compatible with all Microsoft Windows Operating systems. All you have to do is to download the archive file (.rar format – only 187kb) and extract the files to anywhere you want to access this software from (E.g. desktop). Then, launch the software. Plug in your USB drive and enable the write-protect function. Easy!
