As world’s number one micro-blogging platform, Twitter is indeed a good tool for you to earn some extra money, provided that you have a large number of followers. That’s not bad! Anyway, in this short article, I will introduce to you several ways that you can use to earn money using Twitter.

1. Paid Review or Tweet

This is perhaps the most popular method. You can sign up an account on several reliable companies that offer such service (see list below) and start earning money by tweeting on an assigned product or service. The more followers you have, the greater you will earn. Do note that some companies monitor your followers, in order to exclude the “fake accounts”. It is also advisable not to flood your Twitter account with too many ads as you might lose followers!

2. Affiliated Marketing

You can directly approach potential advertisers and give them your “package price” (e.g. RM100 for 10 daily Tweets on their products for a duration of 1 week). This is indeed more direct and you can earn good money if you do it right!
