Dell Inspiron M301z Powered by AMD Ahtlon II Neo from RM1999

Looking for a laptop or notebook with good specification but on a limited budget? Dell has just recently introduced its new line of laptops powered by Athlon II Neo Dual-Core processors. This laptop is slim and compact, suitable for traveling use without the need to compromise on performance. What makes it more attractive is that you can get this laptop from only RM1999.

There are currently three variants for this M301z line. All three variants share the same spec except for memory size and processors. The cheapest of the three (RM1999) comes with a decent 2GB DDR3 RAM and AMD Athlon II Neo Dual-Core Mobile Processor K325. With extra RM150, you can upgrade the RAM to 4GB.

The Good Side:

  • Slim and compact with SEXY silver design
  • Comes with Integrated ATi Mobility Radeon HD 4225 graphic card which works very well with AMD processors
  • Enhance battery life (of about 4-5 hours)

The No-So-Good Side

  • External DVD+/-RW (Included, not in-built) – But some people like it, since we don’t really use DVD all the time.
  • No VGA connector

All in all, this is an affordable laptop/notebook for users who wants flexibility between gaming and work. Highly recommended for students!
