Apple Inc announced on Friday that its iPad would be released in Singapore, Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands and New Zealand by July. Details on the pricing for the release will be announced on a later date, probably by early June. The company has also announced that iPad will be available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the U.K by May 28. Pre-ordering for these countries can be done starting Monday next week.
Well, since Apple Store Singapore is closely linked with Malaysia’s, you could expect it to be available around the same time. Of course, by now, there are already many "iPad sellers" in the grey market though it is rather overpriced. And be careful not to be fooled by certain sellers who charge huge fees for getting the gadget! It’s just not worth it.
