Happy Merdeka to all. And while the nation is celebrating it’s golden jubilee, I really can’t believe that I’ve been born into this nation for almost 25 years. When i flipped back on my journal of “What I’ve Done Each Year”, i was a bit disappointed with myself for i’ve not been contributing to the nation for quite a while. But i guess, there are plenty to come as i’m about to embark on a different route. I do agree with most people saying that Malaysia’s achievement in 50 years is really tremendous, considering it took more than 50 years for some nations to be on the map of the world. Of course, we cannot be content of what we have now, but must always look forward for a better and greater Malaysia. But if we just sit there and complain, it won’t help the nation to progress. We need to play our parts no matter how small or how big it is. Then, we can say to ourselves, “hey at least i did that for Malaysia!”. 🙂 Happy Merdeka!
