I was browsing through the Innit posts that something struck my mine - what kind of Innit post or headlines that attract attentions. This would mean that the posts get Nanged more often than the rest and hence improve traffics. Well, while it may sound obvious to most of you since Marcie Tan has done a short review on it, i decided to have a mini research just to further justify his claim. Well, not really a research since I’m using only one evidence or data source as an instrument to justify my hypotheses. But it’ll be one good source of info, i hope.
So prior to "collecting the data", i hypothesised that:
#1 Innit post with sex (not gender) or sex-related words will get more Nangs.
#2 Innit post by female Nuffnangers will get more Nangs.
#3 Innit post related to blog-money-making or internet marketing will get more Nangs
#4 Innit post related to Nuffnang events will get more Nangs.
Ok, now that you’ve know most of the improved features in Firefox 3 as well as the embedded robots that accompany it, it’s time to check back on some of the tricks that it offers.
Well, it’s been a while since i last listen to a Thai pop music, especially those from Bird Thong Chai, the ever green Thai singer who never looks old despiter his age (50 years old!). God!! Firefox 3 team is working together with robots to take over your computer! Don’t believe me? Go to your address bar, type in "about:robots" without the quotation mark! And you’ll see a Robot page stating: Gort, Klaatu barada nikto! Not sure what it means by there is one definition here from Wikipedia.
They say they come in peace and with goodwill but i doubt it! The scary thing is that, when you click Try Again…..it will say "Please do not press this button again" and of course curious humans always will click it again….and taadaaa…it’s GONE!
Hence, they have a plan! Try it out!
P/s: About:Robots is just an "easter egg" planted in Firefox 3. There is no reason to be paranoid.
Two days ago, one of my friends whom i met during a small gathering we had, showed her great interest in starting her own blog and asked me for tips on whether there are things that she need to avoid when starting one. So this post is written after some recollection of my very own mistakes when starting my blog since 2005. I do need to mention that i’m not a so-called blog money-making guru or expert that can tell you how to drive traffics to your blog. This purely my humble experience in the blogosphere and until now i must say, the learning process never ends.
