  • Simple CSS – Makes CSS Super Simple 0 CommentsPosted by on June 23, 2008 under Reviews, Tech & Web
For beginning web designers, dealing with CSS can create headaches that more often than not resulted in "cutting-and-pasting" others' CSS nto theirs. While learning it may take a while who those who have little clue of what Cascading Style Sheet is and how it works, several useful software can be used to reduce the difficulty. One that I frequently depend on is the SimpleCSS, and what'... more.
  • Xunlei English – Thunder 5 Translation Pack 23 CommentsPosted by on May 22, 2008 under Reviews, Tech & Web
I notice that a lot of people have been visiting my blog searching for Xunlei or Thunder 5's English language pack. Well, thanks to the efforts by HeHeHunter, he has made available the language pack. Since he has retired from blogging, i'm worried that his hard-edited language pack will be gone, so i took the liberty to post it here again. Of course, all credits goes to him! If you have ... more.
  • Exabytes – The Bytes that Bite! 4 CommentsPosted by on May 8, 2008 under Reviews
I had always wanted to own a domain name with proper web hosting after being a loyal user of free hosting services ever since 2000. After 5 years, i decided to scout around and look for reliable web hosting. I targeted Malaysia-based web hosting companies mainly due to easier transactional activity. So after Googling around and asking friends' opinion, i was introduced to Exabytes.com, and it ... more.

I'm not sure how many of you out there actually uses XunLei or Thunder 5 as your download manager. Well, i have to say, it's not just any download manager. It's definitely super fast, both for direct leeching and torrent downloading. While i've been a loyal user of uTorrent, i do reckon that XunLei can be super fast when downloading torrent files from international sites like Mininova, Isohunt or ... more.
  • Apple Safari (Beta) For Windows 0 CommentsPosted by on June 14, 2007 under Reviews, Tech & Web
Well, after reading the review done by Mojokarl on the latest Apple Safari, I downloaded and installed it few hours ago. It sure runs slightly faster than IE and Firefox, but still loses to Opera. Maybe because it's not meant to be part of Windows OS (yet). Once I test run it with Hamachi, a community-developed utility for verifying browser integrity, written by H. D. Moore and Aviv Raff, i receiv... more.
  • The Secret by Rhonda Byrne 5 CommentsPosted by on June 13, 2007 under Reviews
This book cost me about RM59.00. Bought it straight from MPH Online. I hesitate for a while before deciding to buy the book. Oh yeah, before i go further, i need to tell you that this is NOT a book about Sci-Fi or CSI-like investigation. Nor it is a book that will yet again reveal the Secret of Jesus Christ's life! It's a Self-Help book! This is not to say that my life need a change though. On fir... more.
  • Shrek the Third! 0 CommentsPosted by on June 3, 2007 under Reviews
Well, watched Shrek III yesterday and am a great fan of the movie since it's first. But I must say, the third installment of the popular wild green Orge is slightly disappointing. The story line is a bit plain this time around, with many expected scenes. In terms of humor, Donkey seems to fall flat, not as active and annoying as the first two SHREKs. Anyhow, still worthy to watch as more chara... more.
  • A Heavenly Wonderful Book 2 CommentsPosted by on February 15, 2007 under Reviews
This is a late post on the latest book that I just finished reading yesterday. Took me about 3 days to finish Mitch Albom's The Five People You Meet in Heaven. As the title suggest, the novel describes the life in heaven, beyond the idealistic view of human beings. The novel begins at the end, the day when Eddie, 83-year-old maintenance man in an amusement park died unexpectedly, trying to resc... more.
  • Cinta – Not Just A Lame Love Story 2 CommentsPosted by on December 14, 2006 under Reviews
Yes, Cinta (2006), the latest Malay movie by the famous Kabir Bhatia. I was a bit sceptical to watch Malay movies especially in recent years, but this film suddenly inject a fresh air into my prespective on our local films as how i've rated highly on Sepet and Gubra. Why? Simply because it's NOT a typical Malay movie, which is famous for its "lame" plot and clumsy lighting and cheap sets. So, wh... more.
