My First Raya Birthday

Well, today marks my 24th birthday, which also means I’ve been in this wonderful world for 24 years and 9 months (in my mom’s womb). It’s also the first time that my birthday falls on 1st day of Syawal, same day as Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Instead of having a birthday cake, I have been “fed” with ketupat, lemang, rendang and raya biscuits. Haha. Since yesterday, my neighbours have been “pouring” in those food. Even this morning, one of my neigbours treated my whole family with her famous nasi lemak + ikan masak asam pedas (see pic). One of my favourites of course! Haha…it’s indeed a fattening birthday. Well, that’s all for now, it’s time to get some more rendang…. :)

Nasi Kerabu!

Look at that! That’s one of Kelantan most famous Malay cuisine! Nasi Kerabu with added sambal ikan bilis. Nasi Kerabu has always been my favourite and with a price tag of RM1.50, believe me, you would crave for more!! :). To my friends who haven’t got a chance to visit Kelantan, please come. I would be more than happy to welcome you.
