As predicted, it’s a tough December for the young Gunners. Playing away from home four in a trot, loosing some key players through injuries, and not forgetting physical “tiredness” that is starting to creep into the players ever since the day they lost to Sevilla last month. But looking at the performance of the Gunners against the diligent Boro side, the players did everything they could to come back after conceeding an early penalty. Of course, Boro deserves to win as they pass the ball better and are quick on their counter attacks. With Cesc, Hleb and Flamini sidelined due to injuries, Arsenal lack pace and creativity in attack, allowing Boro’s player to take control of the game.
It would have been a different game if Walcott and Denilson were allowed to start. Diarra seems “very new” in central midfield, and could not work well with Gilberto. Arsenal now need to bounce back and regain their confidence before facing old rival Chelsea at home next week. A win at Emirates will boost their title hopes and put pressure on other teams at the peak.

Tonight will be the decisive clash between Man Utd and Arsenal, a match that would perhaps decide whether Arsenal are pure title contenders. A changed Arsenal side thanks to the depature of Henry, will be hoping to continue their amazing run by gunning down the Red Devils. However, i do think it will be a close encounter tonight as Man Utd are on-form with Rooney-Tevez partnerships starting to bear fruits. Playing at Emirates will give Arsenal a greater advantage as the stadium is getting more and more “fortified” like the good old Highbury. I’ll go for a draw or a slim win for Arsenal tonight. What’s more important is for the young guns to continue playing the way they are now. Go Gunners!!

Well well, another magnificent show by the Arsenal young lads. While everyone is still talking about Mourinho departure from Chelsea, Arsene Wenger pushed the young gunners to their fourth straight wins and Fabregas scored his sixth goal in six games, not to mention a superb hattrick by Adebayor. It really reminds me of the way Arsenal started in 2004 campaign when they go unbeaten for the whole season of 38 games, and went all the way to win the league. This season stylish start seems to give a hint that the gunners is going to repeat history. I sure hope this fine forms continues regardless of how other teams have canceled out Arsenal as title contenders. They’ll eat their own words when the season comes to and end. A fine start is what Arsenal needed and they did it with superlative attacking football, much entertaining that conventional “points-getter” football of Chelsea and Liverpool. All the best Gunners!

Alright, no more dramas, no more talk shows, it’s time for English Premier League (EPL) football matches again!! Yippie!! Now it’s going to be the greatest season ever with the big Three spending their money, acquiring new bloods to mount a serious challenge for the EPL title. Liverpool, Chelsea and Man United all have spent more than 20 million pounds to bring in new players, with of course the Red Devils being the hottest money splashing club ever! But what will happen to Arsenal? After Henry left for Barcelona, Wenger only brought in two key signings, Eduardo da Silva and Bakary Sagna, apart from Fabianski as a backup keeper. If you’re thinking Arsenal have no chance to fight for the title, think again! The lack of pressure and expectations will give Arsenal young guns a better chance to show their best. Henry’s departure is not really a loss as you can see last season, with his lack of matches plus van Persie long absense from injury, Arsenal still managed to get into the fourth spot, with similar points as Liverpool, not to mention how the super young guns made it to the final or the League Cup. Remember, they fight against Chelsea multi-millions signings!
